FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. I have only recently started to lose hair; can you tell me what is causing this?

A. There are many different types of hair loss and the causes differ. If you check the All About Hair Section you will probably be able to identify the type of hair loss from the descriptions. In some instances the causes are related to a medical condition and you should see a doctor if you are unsure of the type of hair loss that is affecting you.

Q. How effective is BIOSCAL?

A. Assuming that the condition is not a medical one caused by fever, disease, drugs etc., its effectiveness depends upon the general condition of your scalp and hair. It is a long term treatment of several months, but the first results should manifest themselves within a few weeks. Remember that hair growth is a very slow process and that the cleansing process takes time too. Even if the cause is a disease or other specific condition, once the cause has been addressed, a healthy scalp is a precondition for healthy hair growth and will aid the re-growth process.

Q. Does BIOSCAL have any harmful side effects?

A. No. It has been exhaustively tested and used by many thousands of people with no side effects whatsoever.

Q. How much of each of the products in the BIOSCAL range do I need?

A. If you use the concentrate, shampoo, conditioner and revitalizer daily you will need one small bottle of each per month, although the revitalizer will probably last longer, depending upon how much you use per application.

Q. Does it make sense to apply BIOSCAL more than once per day?

A. It is not necessary and is applied only at night to dry hair.

Q. What is the minimum time for BIOSCAL to penetrate before the scalp is rinsed or washed?

A. One hour is the minimum. Four hours or overnight is better. Bioscal is designed to penetrate the tissue in the hair follicle in order to stimulate the nervous and circulatory systems and this takes time.

Q. Is the application procedure difficult?

A. No. The concentrate is applied with the dropper provided and the revitalizer is sprayed on. (See Application Procedure for details)

Q. If, after using BIOSCAL, my hair looks greasy, what should I do?

A. Too much has been applied but, the preparation must always be rinsed off or shampooed in any event. The directions recommend using small quantities on the scalp.

Q. I have started to use BIOSCAL but continue to lose hair, long ones too!

A. The hair growth cycle (see All About Hair) results in continuous hair loss as old hairs die and new hairs push them out. Continued use of BIOSCAL will gradually improve both the quantity and quality of new hair growth.

Q. How long should I go on using BIOSCAL?

A. If you use BIOSCAL daily over a period of several months, you will be astonished by the results it produces. When you are satisfied with the condition of your scalp and hair, gradually reduce the application frequency to once or twice per week.

Q. What if BIOSCAL doesn't work for me?

A. The record of BIOSCAL in treating hair loss is very impressive (see Proven Success) but for a minority of users it has not proved to be effective. The reasons may be improper application, stress, a medical problem or that the hair loss condition has already progressed too far to be reversible. In any event, please contact us (see Contact Us) and we will try to help you solve the problem.

Q. How is BIOSCAL different from the other products that claim to help hair loss

A. In the cases of Propecia and Rogaine, these are drugs that have proved to be of benefit in many situations, but they have strict conditions of use and some potentially severe side effects. BIOSCAL works by restoring the health of the scalp and hair. It was developed by medical doctors and proven both clinically and through market tests (see Proven Success). There have been several attempts to imitate BIOSCAL (those that use Helsinki in their name in particular) but, none of them are the real thing containing the key ingredients that give BIOSCAL its efficacy. Also, other products claim to work in the same way but we are not in a position to comment on their claims. In general, it is best to check the quality and results of the clinical and market tests they have conducted.
