The Development of BIOSCAL

The ORIGINAL BIOSCAL Hair and Scalp Treatment Program has been used to successfully treat various hair and scalp problems in more than 22 countries on five continents. ORIGINAL BIOSCAL products were developed and clinically tested by Drs Kai Setälä and Ilona Schreck-Purola at the University of Helsinki. They are designed to help improve the condition of hair and scalp and thus to provide the basis for a healthy growth of hair.

Like so many other discoveries, the effective ingredients in ORIGINAL BIOSCAL were discovered accidentally, following twenty years of research in the field of skin pathology. They observed that certain compounds caused formerly dormant follicles to be reactivated. The leap to deep cleansing action and the subsequent development of the BIOSCAL Hair Care System was a logical extension of their research.

The BIOSCAL Treatment

ORIGINAL BIOSCAL's effectiveness, in terms of the time it takes to see results, depends on the general condition of the scalp and hair to start with - the better the condition the faster the results. BIOSCAL does not perform miracles. Rather, it is a long term treatment and its benefits should be evident in a few weeks. Bear in mind that hair growth is itself a very slow process and that results will vary from individual to individual.

BIOSCAL products are manufactured in Canada by Carram Inc. and distributed through salons, spas, estheticians and barbers in Canada and directly to consumers in the United States. Beware of Imitations

Although ORIGINAL BIOSCAL originated at the University of Helsinki, it should not be confused with products whose name starts with Helsinki, which are unsuccessful attempts to imitate the BIOSCAL product; they claim to be based on the same research as BIOSCAL but this is in fact a bogus claim. BIOSCAL is not associated in any way with the producers of these products. We will be pleased to provide evidence of this to any interested parties.
